Dr Greger’s Spice Blend

I wouldn’t be without this spice blend as I use it on my food instead of salt. Sprinkle it over your main meal, hummus, avocado, scrambled tofu – just go crazy and it’s good for you too!

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tblsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 Tblsp onion powder
  • 1 Tblsp dried parsley
  • 1 Tblsp dried basil
  • 2 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp dry mustard (mustard powder)
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp celery seeds

Method:

  1. Place all the ingredients into a spice blender and blend until powdery.
  2. Transfer into a salt shaker for ease of use.

Note:  I have a dedicated coffee bean grinder that works a treat.
