Dr Greger’s Spice Blend
I wouldn’t be without this spice blend as I use it on my food instead of salt. Sprinkle it over your main meal, hummus, avocado, scrambled tofu – just go crazy and it’s good for you too!
Ingredients:
- 2 Tblsp nutritional yeast
- 1 Tblsp onion powder
- 1 Tblsp dried parsley
- 1 Tblsp dried basil
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp dry mustard (mustard powder)
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp celery seeds
Method:
- Place all the ingredients into a spice blender and blend until powdery.
- Transfer into a salt shaker for ease of use.
Note: I have a dedicated coffee bean grinder that works a treat.
