Recipe Black Bean Crackers
Tasty, healthy and easy to make, once you start having these crackers with your dips you won’t want to go back to store-bought.
Ingredients
  • 1can Black beans
  • 1Tblsp Dr Greger’s Spice mixSee notes
  • 2Tblsp Sunflower seeds
  • 2Tblsp olive oil
  • 1/2cup ArrowrootSee notes
  • 1/2tsp Salt
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 175°C / 350°F
  2. Place all ingredients into a food processor.
  3. Blend until mixture forms into a ball – you will need to scrape down the sides.
  4. Place baking paper onto an oven tray.
  5. Place mixture on top.
  6. Place a 2nd piece of baking paper on top.
  7. Roll out the mixture to the edges until thin.
  8. Score with a knife into the desired sized squares.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes until colour has deepened and crackers are firm to touch.
  10. Allow to cool before snapping into shapes.

  1. Dr Greger’s spice mix recipe Here. You can use whatever spices you like to add up to 1 tablespoon.
  2. Arrowroot – you can replace with Tapioca flour. 1/2 cup = 6 Tablespoons.
