Banana Bread
Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
  • 1/4Cup Spelt flour
  • 1/3Cup Cane sugar
  • 2tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2tsp Baking soda
  • 1tsp Cinnamon
  • Pinch Salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/3Cup Apple sauce
  • 1tsp Vanilla extract
  • 3-4Smallish Ripe bananas
  • 1/4Cup Plant milk only if needed
Instructions
  1. Mash the bananas and add to the wet ingredients and mix.
  2. Add the dry ingredients and mix taking care not to overmix.
  3. Only add the plant milk if the batter is too dry.
  4. Put into a prepared loaf tin.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
  6. Rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Enjoy.
Recipe Notes
  • You can freeze when cold.
  • Serve with coconut yoghurt.
  • Have as a dessert with  (N)ice cream.
